ICT Test Engineer (H/F) – Zurich

About the role

We are looking for an ICT Test Engineer to join a large‑scale technology modernization program in Zurich. You will work in a complex, multi‑system environment, supporting the delivery of new information systems and advanced integration platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and structure test cases for functional and technical scenarios.
• Prepare, execute and document test campaigns while ensuring data consistency.
• Set up and continuously improve dedicated testing environments.
• Identify, qualify and track defects until resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development, architecture and test management teams.
• Contribute to progressive test automation where appropriate.
• Produce quality‑tracking reports and delivery validation documents.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a test engineer, preferably in multi‑system contexts.
• Strong analytical mindset, rigor and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1 level).
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment.

Required skills

• Test management tools such as Jira and xRay (or equivalents).
• Experience with hybrid or cloud environments.
