About the role

Join our team as an Implant Maintenance Engineer and play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of ion implanter systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance plans to maximise uptime and efficiency of ion implanter systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to identify and implement technical improvements that enhance reliability and performance.
• Optimise spare parts management to minimise downtime and costs.
• Partner with production teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with production schedules.
• Work closely with the Process Support Group to address process and tool performance issues.
• Contribute to the selection, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, ideally with ion implanter systems.
• Proven expertise in planning, implementing, and optimising maintenance strategies.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Applied Materials 9500/XR200 implant system knowledge.
• Varian VIISTA implant system knowledge.
• Experience with ion implanter maintenance and spare‑parts management.
