Photolithography Process Engineer 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

About the role

Join a high‑performing photolithography team at Hitachi Energy in Lenzburg, where you will develop and optimise photolithography processes for semiconductor manufacturing. This senior position offers the chance to shape technical decisions, drive tool strategies and improve stability, uptime and overall process performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure processes meet production programme and yield goals, addressing product yield and rework issues.
• Collaborate with equipment and material vendors to develop new solutions and improve existing processes.
• Plan and implement new machinery into the production line and support metrology tools for CD and overlay measurement.
• Analyse process data, implement SPC, and troubleshoot to optimise performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (5+ years) or Master’s (3+ years) or PhD with industry experience in wafer photolithography.
• Extensive experience with coating and exposure in steppers within a wafer manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of optics, immersion lithography and clean‑room work.
• Good English and German language skills.

Required skills

• Photolithography equipment operation (steppers, coating, exposure).
• Automated factory software (SPC, MES) and data extraction/analysis.
• Optics and immersion lithography knowledge.
• Programming / data‑science skills (preferred).
