Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

This position strengthens internal IT support across a distributed, multi‑office environment. You will ensure new employees are productive from day one by handling onboarding, workplace setup, endpoint management and day‑to‑day operations while helping shift the team toward a more automated, standardised model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for end‑user devices, collaboration tools and office infrastructure.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including device provisioning, configuration and access coordination.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and meeting‑room technology issues.
• Manage endpoints, user accounts and mobile devices within established frameworks.
• Maintain accurate asset inventories, device records and documentation.
• Escalate complex incidents while retaining ownership and clear communication.
• Identify and implement automation, standardisation and self‑service opportunities.
• Assist with office moves, expansions and local technology projects.
• Contribute to knowledge bases, runbooks and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support, end‑user computing or service‑desk environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networking.
• Experience supporting user lifecycle processes and workplace operations.
• Understanding of ITSM practices and ticketing workflows.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective stakeholder communication.
