Information Technology Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Information Technology Support Specialist to act as a back‑fill engineer, providing on‑site assistance whenever the primary engineer is unavailable. You will ensure smooth daily operations for end‑users by handling hardware, software and network issues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑level support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone or in‑person.
• Install, upgrade and maintain Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems and related applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware components such as monitors, keyboards, docking stations and peripheral devices.
• Configure new employee workstations, set up user accounts and assign appropriate permissions.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding and off‑boarding from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on escalated tickets and project tasks.
• Follow security protocols, including antivirus, patching, Bitlocker and data protection policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in desktop support, help‑desk or IT technician role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365 and basic networking concepts.
• Proficiency in Hungarian language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
