International Arbitration Associate (Swiss-qualified) – Geneva or Zurich

About the role

LALIVE is seeking a Swiss‑qualified associate to join its international arbitration team in either Geneva or Zurich. The role involves providing high‑quality advice to a diverse client base on cross‑border disputes and supporting the team in complex arbitration matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior arbitration lawyers in managing international commercial and investment arbitration cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on multi‑jurisdictional issues.
• Draft pleadings, memoranda, and other procedural documents.
• Support case management, including evidence collection and coordination with experts.
• Maintain client communications and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified to practice law in Switzerland.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Minimum two years of experience in international arbitration.
• Strong research, analytical and drafting abilities.
• Native‑level French and fluent English (additional languages a plus).
• Swiss work permit.
