Internship in External Quality for Life Sciences Students (12 Months)

About the role

Roche is offering a 12-month internship in external quality for students in life sciences, based in Kaiseraugst. You will help maintain high standards by providing quality and compliance oversight for a network of external GxP suppliers, acting as the primary Quality Point of Contact (PoC) for designated suppliers and joining GxP cross-functional management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality activities throughout the supplier lifecycle (source and select, implement, manage, decommission) to support the Make, Assess, Release & Deliver of commercial and IMP medicinal products.
• Develop, negotiate and maintain Quality Contracts and Product-Specific Requirements with GxP suppliers, and ensure agreement compliance.
• Work with suppliers to close compliance gaps through root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, deviation reporting and management, escalating as appropriate.
• Manage relationships across end-to-end external quality operations and internal teams so quality expectations align with Roche's objectives.
• Notify senior management of potential quality or regulatory issues affecting product quality or compliance.
• Complete all job-related training before performing GMP tasks and keep improving knowledge of quality, compliance and technology.

Required profile

• University student pursuing a Master's degree or holder of a Master's in Life Sciences or equivalent within the last 12 months of the start date.
• Fluency in oral and written English is a must; German is a plus.
• Non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a university certificate stating that the internship is mandatory and its duration.

Required skills

• Strong command of MS Office or Google Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project).
