Investment Associate – Energy Infrastructure

About the role

The Investment Associate will join a leading Swiss‑based energy infrastructure fund that manages over €7 bn in assets. Reporting directly to the three co‑founders, the associate will help drive the firm’s European investment strategy across renewable energy, digital infrastructure and environmental assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial modelling and valuation analysis (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) for target investments.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including operational, financial and market assessments.
• Prepare investment memoranda, committee papers and investor reporting materials.
• Support deal origination and pipeline development through market research and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage relationships with advisors, lenders and transaction partners throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Contribute to asset‑management initiatives, including value‑creation planning and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of experience in private equity, infrastructure, project finance or investment banking.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (French, German, Italian) are a plus.
• EU passport holder.
