About the role
UBS is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Mid Market team in Zurich. You will work on high‑profile mandates, supporting the origination and execution of M&A, debt and equity transactions for mid‑sized corporations, entrepreneurs and private‑equity funds.
Key responsibilities
- Work as part of a deal team on the origination and execution of high‑profile mandates.
- Coordinate transaction processes and interact with various stakeholders.
- Prepare marketing materials and perform a broad range of analyses.
- Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, business plans, and other quantitative analyses.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.
Required profile
- Motivated to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong financial analysis and presentation skills.
- Solid corporate finance knowledge, including accounting and valuation techniques.
- Excellent academic track record.
- Fluent in English and German; French is a plus.
- 3‑5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A or corporate finance.
