Investment Banking Coverage Vice President – Switzerland

About the role

As an Investment Banking Vice President in Zurich you will support M&A execution and capital‑raising activities, helping to strengthen the bank’s reputation in the Swiss market. You will collaborate with product and sector experts worldwide, gaining exposure to a broad range of industries and financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of client businesses to tailor corporate‑finance solutions.
• Build and maintain client relationships, offering the full suite of the bank’s products.
• Prepare and present transaction‑focused presentations to clients.
• Lead complex financial and valuation analyses and mentor junior bankers.
• Originate, structure and execute transactions in partnership with senior bankers.
• Take project‑leadership roles in both origination and execution phases.

Required profile

• University degree (BSc or MSc) in Banking, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance or M&A, preferably at a leading IB or boutique.
• Strong numerical, analytical and financial modelling abilities.
• Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
