iOS Product Engineer

About the role

Mobility is looking for an iOS Product Engineer to join its headquarters in Rotkreuz and help shape the company’s flagship mobile experience. You will work in a cross‑functional product team, collaborating with designers, backend engineers, QA specialists and product managers to deliver a high‑quality native iOS app used by thousands of customers across Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Design and implement new features in close partnership with UX, product and engineering teams.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate backend services, SDKs and third‑party components while ensuring performance, stability and maintainability.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, release processes and contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with mobile developers across other product streams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Help evolve the application architecture, quality and overall user experience.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience developing native iOS applications.
• Fluent German (C1) and English (B2/C1).

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks, especially SwiftUI.
• Experience integrating SDKs, third‑party libraries and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of development and delivery tools such as Bitbucket, CircleCI, App Store Connect, Firebase and Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and NFC technologies (plus).
• Knowledge of Android development with Kotlin (advantage).
