IS Project Manager & SAP Ariba SCC Implementation Coordinator

About the role

ABB is looking for an experienced IT/IS project manager to lead the global strategic initiatives of its Motion IEC Low-Voltage Motors division, with a particular focus on coordinating SAP Ariba SCC activities across the Motion Business Area. The role combines project management with digital transformation responsibility and can be held as an IS project manager or as a combined Business/IS role. It reports to the MOIM Chief Information Officer, works in a hybrid model and contributes to the Motion/IEC LV Motors division globally.

Key responsibilities

• Drive IT/IS projects and contribute to continuous improvement of the MOIM IS project management maturity.
• Lead full-lifecycle SAP Ariba SCC implementations, including planning, blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live and post-deployment support.
• Coordinate Ariba training programs and best-practice sharing to ensure optimal use of SAP Ariba solutions.
• Work with business stakeholders, external implementation partners, vendors and SAP support teams to turn procurement requirements into functional specifications.
• Ensure seamless ERP integration and align procurement and supply chain capabilities with ABB's business objectives, in close collaboration with the global MOIM IS PMO and P&F leadership.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience as an IS project manager in a global matrix organization.
• Proven experience leading complex and distributed projects.
• Fluent English; documents submitted in English are appreciated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to influence and lead without direct authority, with strong problem-solving and customer-centred approach.

Required skills

• SAP Ariba SCC implementation experience.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP MM module is an advantage.
• Experience with operative procurement and quality processes is a plus.
