IT Coordinator (100%)

About the role

The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), founded in 1908 and the worldwide governing body for ice hockey, is looking for an IT Coordinator to support its day-to-day IT operations and help develop its technology environment. The role reports directly to the Technology Director and offers the chance to take ownership of operational topics, contribute to projects and gradually take on broader responsibilities. It is available for an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional 1st and 2nd level IT support, owning requests from intake through resolution or escalation
• Manage workplace IT activities such as user access, onboarding and offboarding, device provisioning, software deployment and license administration
• Maintain Microsoft 365 and the modern workplace environment, including Entra ID, Intune and endpoint management
• Set up and maintain laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and meeting-room technology
• Maintain IT documentation, inventories, procedures and user guides, and improve IT processes and service quality
• Prepare, test and support technology equipment and services for IIHF events, including some on-site assignments
• Coordinate with external IT and technology service providers and contribute to IT projects, including testing, implementation and rollout of new systems

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship or equivalent education in Information Technology, ICT or a related field
• Practical experience in 1st and/or 2nd level IT support
• Proactive, service-oriented team player who works independently and takes responsibility
• Fluent English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally for selected IIHF events

Required skills

• Good practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern workplace environments
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune or endpoint management is an advantage
• Understanding of end-user hardware, software and IT troubleshooting
