IT & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

DSwiss, which runs the SecureSafe platform for secure exchange, delivery and storage of confidential information, is looking for a hands-on IT & Infrastructure Engineer to join its Operations team. This is a hybrid role combining ownership of the internal IT environment with the chance to grow in infrastructure operations and platform engineering. You will keep employees' devices secure and internal IT services running reliably, working alongside experienced infrastructure engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve day-to-day internal IT operations, including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration (users, groups, licenses, access requests)
• Manage Apple and Windows devices via JAMF and Microsoft Intune, including provisioning, patching, compliance and hardening baselines
• Handle onboarding, offboarding, device replacement and IT asset lifecycle, with documented access revocation at offboarding
• Administer and improve Jira Service Management and Confluence, and coordinate with external IT vendors
• Work with the Operations team on on-premises infrastructure, Linux servers, virtualization, storage, networking and monitoring
• Support hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and data centre lifecycle, and assist with patching, backups and vulnerability remediation
• Take part in incident investigation and root cause analysis, and join the on-call rotation once trained
• Contribute to infrastructure improvement projects and operational documentation

Required profile

• Approximately 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in IT administration, systems administration or infrastructure operations
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, JAMF or Intune
• Ability to troubleshoot systems, deploy software and manage patches independently
• Willingness to join an on-call rotation after training, fluent English, and good communication and documentation habits
• Nice to have: Linux, virtualization, Git, GitLab, Ansible or Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jira Service Management, ISO 27001 environments, German, and relevant certifications
