IT Project Manager – SAP Transformation

About the role

Rieter is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex SAP‑focused transformation initiatives. You will act as the central interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, executive leadership, external consultants and technology partners, ensuring projects deliver business value and align with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation projects from initiation through go‑live.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and quality targets.
• Translate business requirements into practical IT solutions and implementation roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, external partners and system integrators.
• Facilitate project governance, steering committees and stakeholder communication.
• Support change management, user adoption and organizational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security and audit requirements.
• Monitor project performance, financials and realization of business benefits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Several years of experience in IT project management and SAP transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and business transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver projects on time and budget.
