IT Project Manager - SAP Transformation

About the role

Rieter, a global supplier of spinning and textile machinery headquartered in Winterthur, Switzerland, is looking for an IT Project Manager. The role leads and delivers complex IT transformation initiatives with a strong focus on SAP-enabled business transformation, acting as the central interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, executive leadership, external consultants and technology partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver SAP-focused IT transformation projects from initiation to go-live
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and quality targets
• Drive business process improvements across key functional areas
• Translate business requirements into practical IT solutions and implementation roadmaps
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, external partners and system integrators
• Facilitate project governance, steering committees and stakeholder communication
• Support change management, user adoption and organisational readiness
• Ensure compliance with governance, security and audit requirements
• Monitor project performance, financials and business benefits, and contribute to improving project management practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Several years of experience in IT project management and SAP transformation projects
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project governance, risk management and budget control
• Very good written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
