IT Support Engineer

About the role

NSC Global is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide dedicated on‑site support within a GMP‑controlled manufacturing environment. The role ensures workplace technology, production‑supporting systems and critical peripherals remain available and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deskside and walk‑up support for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS and user issues; manage incidents via ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
• Perform Active Directory administration, including onboarding, off‑boarding, password resets and group management.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity, cabling, patching and WLAN access.
• Install, configure, maintain and support office printers, Zebra and Datamax label printers, and barcode scanners used on the production floor.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, application and remote support teams to resolve escalated issues.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, manage device lifecycle and document support activities to meet regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Experience providing end‑user computing and desktop support in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop hardware and Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency with Active Directory user account management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or similar ITSM tools.
• Understanding of LAN, WAN and wireless networking concepts.
• Experience supporting printers, label printers and barcode scanners in manufacturing settings.
