Mechanical Production Engineer – Aircraft Interior Modifications

About the role

The Mechanical Production Engineer will design, modify and integrate aircraft interior structures, systems and furnishings. You will support the Mechanical Modification Engineering team in both technical and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop aircraft interior structure, system and furnishing modifications using 2D/3D CAD.
• Prepare layout drawings, installation instructions, test procedures and compliance documentation.
• Handle engineering change notes, material orders and request for quotations.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal production/installation departments to ensure correct certification compliance.
• Select equipment, components and materials and develop engineering design standards.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree (Aeronautical or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role.
• Strong attention to detail, safety focus and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with 2D/3D design software such as AutoCAD and CATIA.
