IT Support & Operations Engineer

About the role

Join NEURA's central IT team as the on‑site IT Champion for the Zurich office, supporting around 50 users across Windows, Mac, Linux and M365 environments. You will be the first point of contact for day‑to‑day IT issues and collaborate with the central team in Riederich for deeper support.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for all IT matters in the Zurich office, responding quickly to incidents.
• Provision, update and troubleshoot M365‑connected Windows and macOS devices, including basic Intune and Entra ID tasks.
• Support AD‑joined Linux clients, handling domain, access and basic diagnostics.
• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot peripherals, printers and local enterprise networking (connectivity, WLAN, switch‑level issues).
• Manage device and user lifecycle: onboarding, off‑boarding, device readiness and accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate with local vendors for hardware, networking equipment and printer maintenance.
• Escalate issues to the central 2nd/3rd‑level support team with clear context and documentation.

Required profile

• Completed IT apprenticeship (Informatiker/in EFZ) or a related Bachelor's degree.
• Several years of generalist IT support experience across Windows, macOS, M365 and Linux.
• Independent, structured work style and ability to prioritize as the sole IT person on site.
• Fluent German and English (B2 or higher).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Riederich headquarters.
