About the role
Apple's Security Engineering & Architecture team protects billions of devices by finding vulnerabilities before attackers do. As a Vulnerability Researcher you will work on Apple software, firmware, and hardware to uncover and exploit security flaws.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability research on Apple software, firmware, and hardware components.
- Analyze and develop exploits for identified vulnerabilities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in vulnerability research and binary exploitation.
- Excellent understanding of common vulnerability classes and exploitation techniques.
- Creative problem‑solving and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Reverse‑engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, etc.
- Programming languages: C, C++, Python, Swift, Objective‑C.
- Knowledge of security architecture of complex operating systems (macOS/iOS is a plus).
