IT Support Specialist (80-100% time)

About the role

Fides Treasury Services is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its growing team. You will be the first point of contact for internal users, handling service requests and incidents while ensuring the stability and performance of the IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and triage incident tickets and service requests following established procedures.
• Provide professional support via calls and ticketing system, maintaining clear communication with users.
• Monitor system health, perform regular checks, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain security and performance.
• Process, fulfill, and follow up on service requests, tracking incidents to resolution.
• Work closely with 2nd‑level support to deepen application knowledge and resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Motivated candidates with a willingness to learn; prior IT support experience is a plus.
• Strong customer orientation and the ability to communicate empathetically in English and German.
• Professional demeanor in challenging situations, ensuring users feel supported.

Required skills

• Windows operating system proficiency.
• Linux knowledge (optional).
• Fundamental networking concepts.
• Active Directory administration.
• Microsoft Office 365 and Entra ID familiarity.
• ITIL awareness (preferred).
