IT Support Technician (Helpdesk) - Microsoft 365

About the role

A staffing agency is recruiting, for a prestigious Swiss asset management firm based in Lausanne, an IT Support Technician. The role supports users during a major digital transition as the firm moves to cloud-based environments, within a collaborative team. The position is full-time, 100%, for 12 months, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and prioritise support requests by phone, email, chat and in person
• Troubleshoot workstations, software, printers, connectivity and mobile devices
• Support onsite meeting rooms, collaboration tools and cloud adoption
• Prepare laptops, replace hardware and keep accurate inventory records
• Manage user accounts and access permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD
• Provide Level 2 troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to specialists
• Keep users informed, confirm resolutions and update troubleshooting documentation

Required profile

• Fluent English (at least B2)
• Advanced communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Professional, service-oriented mindset
• Responsible, supportive, intellectually curious and energetic

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud environments
• Good knowledge of Level 1 and Level 2 IT support workflows
• Microsoft certifications are an asset
