IT Transformation Project Manager (m/w/x)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Transformation Project Manager to lead complex optimisation and migration projects within the SimCorp Dimension environment for our financial‑services clients. The role combines strategic cloud business case development, agile and traditional project management, and stakeholder engagement at C‑level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate optimisation projects in complex SimCorp Dimension landscapes.
• Develop and present cloud business cases based on total cost of ownership.
• Execute agile and traditional project management, monitor milestones and deliverables, and run SteerCo meetings with C‑level sponsors.
• Facilitate SLA negotiations between clients and external vendors.
• Support analysis and development of AI‑powered use cases for customers.
• Lead the transformation of ITIL Incident and Change Management processes.
• Guide international, multicultural teams through regulatory‑compliant IT change projects.
• Oversee ramp‑up and migration of SimCorp Dimension assets from on‑premises or IaaS to SaaS environments.

Required profile

• Many years of demonstrable experience as a manager, IT project manager or senior business analyst, preferably in banking, asset management or the broader financial sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to present confidently to C‑level audiences.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in SimCorp Dimension (certifications preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence or DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of IT security, ITIL processes, and cloud operating models (IaaS, SaaS).
• Familiarity with AI use‑case development.
