About the role
LUXOFT is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a global engineering team in Zurich. The position is permanent and hybrid, with three days a week on site.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices.
- Build clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Optimize application performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and cloud standards.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required profile
- Strong experience with modern Java (Java 11/17+).
- Hands‑on experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with messaging or streaming technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
