Junior Assistant - Technology Risk IT Audit (Part-Time)

About the role

EY's Technology Risk team advises banks and financial institutions on IT risk, data security and confidentiality. This part-time Junior Assistant role (60-80%) runs alongside your studies and supports Assistants, Seniors, Managers and Partners in IT audit and advisory engagements for financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the examination of IT controls in highly regulated financial institutions, including IT general controls reviews, regulatory and group-wide IT audits, client-requested projects, due diligence, SOCR framework audits and other third-party assurance engagements
• Help perform audit procedures and document projects in line with audit standards and the global audit methodology
• Use data-driven audit tools and analytics (e.g. EY Helix) and gain first exposure to cloud, SAP and AI
• Help prepare audit reports presented to clients and keep the team informed of progress
• Take part in an educational program to develop IT auditing skills

Required profile

• Bachelor's studies in (business) informatics, business administration or a comparable field; Master's students should apply for the full-time Assistant position instead
• Interest in financial services and regulatory topics such as FINMA
• Fluent English; German and other languages are an advantage
