Junior Bank Reconciliation Analyst

About the role

This junior position offers an early‑career finance professional the chance to develop expertise in bank reconciliation within a dynamic, international environment. You will support the accuracy and integrity of financial records across multiple entities and currencies, working closely with accounting, treasury and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for several entities, ensuring records are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Match bank transactions to general‑ledger entries and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed reconciliation records, supporting documentation and escalation logs.
• Code banking transactions, including multi‑currency and intercompany transfers.
• Prepare reconciliation summaries, reports and supporting schedules for senior finance review.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Treasury and other finance teams to clarify payment details.
• Escalate unresolved items and support follow‑up until resolution.
• Contribute to month‑end closing activities and documentation sign‑offs.
• Assist in improving reconciliation procedures and process documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance operations.
• Practical experience with Xero or a similar cloud‑based accounting system.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and double‑entry bookkeeping.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of data.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
