Junior Business Development Manager – German‑Swiss Market

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and market development in the German‑speaking region of Switzerland. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will learn our sales process from the ground up and contribute to our rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new customers through lead generation, cold outreach and qualification.
• Prepare and deliver pitches, draft offers and advance deals, often collaborating with senior team members.
• Work closely with marketing to launch lead‑generation activities and represent the company at trade events.
• Execute sales programs to meet quarterly pipeline and revenue targets.
• Explain the benefits of SCION, carrier networks and modern app‑based networking solutions to prospects.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development or inside sales, or a strong sales talent looking to change careers.
• “Hunter” mentality with high resilience, proactive approach and passion for new customer acquisition.
• Fluent German and strong English communication skills.
• Curiosity for technology and ability to quickly grasp complex networking concepts.
