Junior Buyer (60-80%) – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

We are a global food company producing premium dried fruits and fruit snacks. We are expanding our purchasing team in Buchs (AG) and need a Junior Buyer to support the timely, cost‑optimized sourcing of product groups and their logistics to our production sites in Ghana and Ivory Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Process and monitor orders and delivery schedules.
• Maintain supplier and product data.
• Request, compare and evaluate quotations.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers.
• Coordinate road, air and sea freight and prepare export documentation.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing teams in Ghana and Ivory Coast.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
• Education or training in purchasing, logistics or supply‑chain management.
• Fluent in English, French and German for communication and negotiation.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented work ethic.

Required skills

• Professional proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using SAP.
