Junior Buyer (Wine Procurement)

About the role

Join ARVI SA’s Purchasing Team in Melano, Ticino, as a Junior Buyer. Working under the Purchasing Manager, you will support wine procurement, build supplier relationships, and assist in negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial relationships with French wine suppliers and producers.
• Support negotiations on pricing, purchasing terms, and product availability.
• Monitor inventory requirements and contribute to procurement planning.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders through to receipt of goods.
• Verify quality, quantity, and delivery timelines of purchased products.
• Monitor market developments, competitors, trends, and new purchasing opportunities.

Required profile

• C2 level English proficiency and good command of French.
• Higher education or equivalent professional experience in purchasing, sales, or a commercial environment.
• Strong commercial mindset, negotiation skills, and results‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
