Junior Compliance Officer – Financial Services (Zurich)

About the role

Alpinum Solutions is seeking a Junior Compliance Officer to join a client project in Zurich for a minimum of three months. The role focuses on ensuring client onboarding and ongoing monitoring meet strict KYC, AML and regulatory standards within the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Review client KYC documentation to verify compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps in documentation and coordinate remediation of missing or outdated information.
• Conduct client screening for adverse media, sanctions and politically exposed persons (PEP) exposure.
• Assess AML risks by analysing source of funds, business activities and relationships.
• Prepare Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports summarising findings, risk assessments and recommended actions.

Required profile

• Fluency in English.
• Resident in Switzerland.
• Minimum 2 + years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in legal or compliance functions.
• Completed legal degree and/or relevant compliance certification.
