Junior Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a recent graduate or early‑career tech enthusiast to join our global organization as a Junior Cyber Security Specialist. Based in Sierre, you will work side‑by‑side with senior experts, gaining hands‑on experience protecting both cloud infrastructure and physical manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security alerts using SIEM solutions such as Splunk and support SOC activities.
• Fine‑tune Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
• Run regular vulnerability scans across IT and OT networks and coordinate patch deployment with administrators.
• Assist in hardening Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and manufacturing equipment.
• Participate in rapid incident response and help maintain up‑to‑date security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Entry‑level experience through internships, academic projects or early IT/cyber work.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security and secure configuration.
• Fluent English and a problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms – preferably Splunk.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
• Vulnerability scanning and patch management tools.
• Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security and OT security concepts (SCADA/DCS, ISA/IEC 62443).
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST.
