Junior Development Engineer – Medical Devices

About the role

Movora is seeking a motivated Junior Development Engineer to join its veterinary orthopedics team. You will work on the full life‑cycle development of medical devices, from concept to production, supporting the creation of innovative implants and instruments that improve animal mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and producing new implants and surgical instruments.
• Recommend and implement design improvements to enhance product quality and functionality.
• Produce and process prototypes using 3D printers and related equipment.
• Support testing and evaluation of prototype and clinical models.
• Provide technical assistance to supply‑chain, vendor manufacturing, marketing, and product‑management teams.
• Report project progress and status regularly.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent applied sciences degree with relevant experience).
• Hands‑on, pragmatic mindset with a passion for product development.
• Comfortable working in a surgical lab environment with animal specimens.
• Team player with a collaborative, respectful, and flexible attitude.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Experience with SolidWorks (preferred).
