Junior Finance Analyst (m/f/d)

About the role

The Swiss Automotive Group (SAG), one of Europe's largest auto parts suppliers, is looking for a Junior Finance Analyst in Rotkreuz, Zug. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the role supports financial management and decision-making through performance analysis and project work, combining financial analysis with a strong project component.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse commercial and operational performance, focusing on sales development, gross margin and profitability, operating expenses, working capital and purchasing performance.
• Identify and explain deviations from budget, forecast and prior-year results, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare financial analyses, management reports, presentations and decision-support materials for the Group CFO and senior management.
• Support and coordinate cross-functional projects sponsored by the Group CFO, working with local entities and Group functions.
• Develop business cases and financial evaluations for strategic projects, investments and restructuring initiatives.
• Improve and standardise financial and operational processes across the Group.
• Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses on request.
• Support due diligence and transaction assessments by preparing and coordinating financial, operational and corporate documentation.
• Coordinate the Group insurance portfolio, acting as main contact for subsidiaries, brokers and other stakeholders, and support renewals, exposure data, coverage reviews and claims.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in audit, advisory, controlling or corporate finance, preferably in a Big Four firm.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus; additional European languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation systems, and Power BI or similar BI tools, is an advantage.
• Ability to turn complex financial and operational data into clear management insights.
