Junior Litigation & Claims Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Litigation & Claims Counsel to join our global legal team. The role will support the management of litigation, claims, disputes and investigations across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with senior lawyers, business stakeholders, external counsel and risk‑management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of litigation, arbitration, administrative proceedings and other disputes in various jurisdictions.
• Assist in developing case strategies together with senior legal counsel and external counsel.
• Coordinate fact‑gathering, document collection and preservation activities.
• Monitor litigation developments, deadlines, budgets and reporting requirements.
• Review briefs, settlement agreements and other dispute‑related documents.
• Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing claims, including customer, vendor, subcontractor and third‑party claims.
• Support claim investigations, root‑cause analyses and resolution strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Assist in assessing claim exposure, reserves, settlement opportunities and recovery options.
• Help develop, implement and maintain litigation and claims management policies, procedures and playbooks.
• Support compliance with applicable legal, regulatory and corporate‑governance requirements.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B., J.D. or equivalent) and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Post‑qualification legal experience, preferably in litigation, disputes, claims or investigations.
• Experience gained at a law firm, corporate legal department or government agency.
• Strong legal research, analytical, drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
