Junior Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Bota Systems, a Swiss high‑tech company specializing in force/torque sensors for robotics, is looking for a Junior Manufacturing Technician to join its production team in Oerlikon. You will work on the assembly, calibration and testing of high‑precision sensors, supporting continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing and assembly orders following defined procedures and quality standards.
• Assemble mechanical and electronic components of sensors.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain production and testing equipment.
• Perform inspections, quality checks and functional testing of finished products.
• Support process optimisation and equipment upkeep.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship or equivalent technical education (Feinmechaniker, Automatiker, Elektroniker, Mechatroniker, etc.).
• Experience in both mechanical assembly and electronics production.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics.
• Fluent in English.
