Junior-Mid Options Trader (US Hours)

About the role

G-20 Group is a cross-asset trading firm headquartered in Switzerland, trading delta-one and derivatives markets globally. As an Options Trader, you will manage a discretionary options portfolio across several asset classes, working with a team of traders, quantitative analysts and developers to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns. The role covers US market hours (equivalent to 1pm-10pm UK time) and some weekend coverage as required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimise options trading strategies across global markets.
• Analyse market data and use quantitative models to find profitable opportunities.
• Monitor and manage risk exposures in line with risk management protocols.
• Collaborate with data scientists, quants and other traders to improve trading algorithms and strategies.
• Stay up to date on market trends, news and economic events affecting options prices and volatility.
• Execute trades and manage positions, and help improve the firm's trading systems and technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field from a top-tier university.
• Strong background in options trading and proven track record of consistent profits (PnL >$2m for more than 3 years).
• Experience with quantitative trading and data analysis applied to trading decisions.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, options pricing, volatility and risk management.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Right to work in London or the US without company sponsorship; the role can be based from the London or New York offices.
