Junior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our global team in Raron. You will support low‑complexity projects from initiation to delivery while contributing to larger, more complex initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define clear project goals and objectives within the project framework.
• Gather, understand, and translate project requirements for execution.
• Manage low‑complexity projects against scope, quality, time, and cost constraints, monitoring KPIs.
• Conduct risk reviews and implement mitigation actions.
• Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders and escalate issues when needed.
• Support budget and staffing forecasts for current and future site needs.
• Lead overall success of low‑complexity projects and contribute to larger projects.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and manage relationships.
• Develop and own the project plan with clear dates and deliverables.
• Provide regular updates to teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Organise weekly forums to exchange project status, issues, and changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Biomedical, Mechanical, or Management Engineering).
• 1‑2 years of project‑management experience or equivalent education/training.
• Fluent in English and German; Italian is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong PC and email usage skills.
