About the role

Join the vibrant NENI restaurant in Zurich as a Junior Sous-Chef. You will work in a dynamic, four‑day‑week environment, supporting the kitchen leadership team while contributing to the lively, collaborative atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Sous‑Chef with resource planning and team management, fostering colleague development.
• Ensure accurate accounts and smooth administrative processes.
• Act as a competent contact and sparring partner for the external concept partner.
• Assist colleagues during peak service times, maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adapt quickly to sudden plan changes and guarantee each dish looks and tastes magnificent.

Required profile

• First‑hand management experience in a kitchen and fluent English communication.
• Ability to inspire both staff and guests, with a passion for new food concepts and eclectic cuisine.
• Enthusiasm for live cooking and international dishes, coupled with strong organisational skills.
• Proactive, honest attitude – willing to admit mistakes and learn from them.
• Commitment to bringing both professional abilities and personal character to the team.
