Operations Manager – Robotics Logistics

About the role

RIVR, part of Amazon, is pioneering Physical AI with wheeled‑legged robots for real‑world deliveries. As Operations Manager you will oversee daily operations at the Zurich site, ensuring smooth, efficient business performance and supporting rapid deployment and scaling of the robot fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor operational processes to maximise efficiency, safety, quality and throughput.
• Identify bottlenecks in field and remote workflows and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate robot and spare‑part flows across sites and manage relationships with external shipping providers.
• Allocate personnel, shifts, equipment and materials to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Collect and analyse operational data, producing reports and recommendations for strategic decisions while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Operations Manager experience in logistics or autonomous‑vehicle/fleet management, preferably with last‑mile focus.
