Junior Traffic Operator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Traffic Operator to join our logistics team within a soft commodities trading organisation. The role offers a hands‑on introduction to coordinating shipments and supporting the end‑to‑end flow of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor logistics and shipment processes to ensure timely and efficient operations.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices and customs paperwork.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues.
• Track shipment statuses and report updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies throughout all activities.
• Maintain accurate records and databases related to traffic and logistics activities.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying optimisation opportunities in logistics processes.

Required profile

• Educational background in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Interest or knowledge of the soft commodities sector.
