Key Account Manager – Pharmaceutical (Switzerland)

About the role

This position is offered on behalf of a partner company seeking a commercially driven pharmaceutical professional to lead strategic customer engagement in Switzerland. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to expand market access, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support better patient outcomes within a specialized therapeutic area.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets across assigned key accounts and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals and decision‑makers.
• Analyze patient pathways to identify opportunities for improved treatment access.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, and other functions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Utilise CRM platforms and data insights to optimise account planning and performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical, pharmaceutical or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in sales or key account management.
• Strong understanding of the Swiss healthcare system, reimbursement environment and stakeholder landscape.
• Proven ability to develop strategic account plans and meet ambitious sales targets.
• Fluency in Spanish and good command of English.
