Lab Operations Associate

About the role

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that connects AI agents with real‑world biology experiments. As a Lab Operations Associate you will ensure the physical lab runs smoothly, keeping inventory, shipments and equipment in perfect order so scientists can deliver results quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and store deliveries in the correct freezers, updating the inventory system accordingly.
• Monitor stock levels, flag low items early and manage day‑to‑day ordering, including follow‑up on late or incorrect shipments.
• Handle inbound and outbound shipping of customer samples, reagents and equipment, managing cold‑chain logistics, dry‑ice, customs paperwork and courier relationships.
• Support the science team hands‑on by reconstituting and aliquoting target proteins, preparing buffers, handling plates and tracking materials.
• Work closely with the Lab Manager to anticipate equipment maintenance and service contract renewals.

• Comfortable working in a busy laboratory setting and collaborating with scientists and managers.
