Specialist Biostatistician

About the role

As a Specialist Biostatistician at Nestlé Research, you will provide statistical expertise across clinical trials, from study design and analysis planning to programming, reporting and scientific communication.

Key responsibilities

• Providing statistical expertise that strengthens clinical study design and supports evidence generation for nutrition, medical nutrition and pharmaceutical assets.
• Developing high‑quality clinical protocols and statistical analysis plans to support clear study execution.
• Programming statistical analyses in R or SAS to deliver accurate, reproducible and well‑organized results.
• Presenting clinical trial results in a clear and meaningful way to help teams interpret findings.
• Driving quality, risk management and continuous improvement across clinical trial statistics and data analysis practices.
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues to build capability, consistency and scientific excellence.

Required profile

• Strong biostatistics and clinical trial expertise for nutrition, medical nutrition and pharmaceutical assets.
• Analytical thinking, organization and project‑management skills to deliver reliable results.
• Experience with statistical programming and clinical research standards such as ICH GCP, EMA, FDA and CDISC guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate with scientific and business partners through clear communication.
• Fluent English communication.
• Collaborative, curious and quality‑focused mindset.
