Lab Technician – QC Microbiology

About the role

Join the microbiological quality control team at Bavarian Nordic's Swiss production site near Bern. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment supporting vaccine manufacturing and ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analyses in compliance with cGMP regulations.
• Support method validations and scientific studies.
• Accurately document all activities in line with cGMP requirements.
• Maintain and handle laboratory equipment and tools responsibly.
• Contribute to innovative improvement projects that enhance processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training, ideally as a biology or chemistry lab technician.
• Hands‑on experience with microbiological testing in a regulated (GxP) environment.
• Strong motivation, team spirit, and a structured, independent working style.
• Careful, safety‑conscious, and reliable approach to laboratory work.
• Quick understanding of various analytical methods and electronic systems.
• Full proficiency in German and English (spoken and written).
