Lead - Inbound Transportation Operations

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Inbound Transport Operations Lead to join our Zurich‑based Global Inbound Transportation Team. Reporting to the Head of Inbound Transportation Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives, improve delivery performance and ensure products move efficiently from suppliers to warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise inbound delivery performance for a specific market across air, sea, road and courier modes, meeting SLAs and lead‑time targets.
• Support the establishment of new transport flows, onboarding of Logistics Service Providers and scaling of Direct Ship operations.
• Partner with LSPs, Regional Operations, Customs and Supply Planning to mitigate disruptions, conduct business reviews and enforce continuous improvement.
• Co‑lead monthly and quarterly KPI reviews, standardise global transport requirements and promote best‑practice sharing.

Required profile

• Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in global transport operations, preferably in apparel/fashion or freight forwarding.
• Extensive knowledge of air, sea, truck and courier transport modes.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment and meet deadlines.
