About the role
Tether is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive the creation of high‑performance, lightweight mobile applications that integrate crypto wallets and DeFi features. You will work remotely with senior backend developers, product managers, and leadership to deliver intuitive solutions for a global audience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a small team of React Native engineers, setting architectural direction and coding standards.
- Design and implement mobile wallet features, ensuring security, speed, and usability.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and unblock mobile delivery.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices.
- Contribute to backend components when needed to support mobile functionality.
Required profile
- Strong experience leading mobile development teams.
- Excellent English communication skills.
