About the role
Join the Legal department of BNP Paribas in Geneva as a Legal Counsel specializing in Group Dispute Resolution. The role is permanent and based in a modern office near Lancy‑Pont‑Rouge station, with hybrid work options.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate civil pre‑litigation and litigation matters for the bank, including administrative and criminal proceedings.
- Develop defence strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
- Provide legal advice to CIB and Swiss Wealth Management business units on client relationships and contractual issues.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with AML, anti‑corruption and sanctions regulations.
- Participate in group committees, draft procedures and policies, and report on significant litigation matters.
Required profile
- Bar admission (brevet d’avocat) with at least 6 years of litigation experience in banking or a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of financing and financial products.
- Bilingual French and English; German is a plus.
