Linux Systems Administrator – Cloud & On-Prem

About the role

Destinus is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join a small, fast‑growing team that builds cutting‑edge unmanned aerial vehicles for defense. You will be responsible for the reliability, scalability and security of both cloud and on‑premise infrastructure while working directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS cloud services and on‑premise Linux servers.
• Administer and customize Atlassian Jira and Confluence to match team workflows.
• Collaborate on network operations, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs and basic SD‑WAN.
• Design network layouts and subnet allocations for new facilities.
• Monitor systems, perform incident resolution and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across servers, networks, cloud platforms and applications.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux environments.
• Customer‑facing orientation and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Comfort with a variety of technologies; no single stack is a deal‑breaker.
• Bias for action and a desire to make a tangible impact.
