Maintenance Project Coordinator (Fixed-term)

About the role

The Maintenance Project Coordinator reports to the Real Estate Manager and is responsible for structuring, budgeting and overseeing all maintenance activities for Hermès’ flagship premises in Geneva. The role ensures that the facilities meet the brand’s high standards of quality, safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Inventory existing maintenance contracts, identify gaps and negotiate new contracts with local contractors.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs, budgets and monthly cost updates.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, prioritize works and estimate costs.
• Coordinate preventive and emergency maintenance for HVAC, lighting, floors, lifts, security and fire‑alarm systems.
• Support IT and Operations teams on related projects and assist retail/communication teams for store events.
• Lead new store openings, provide staff training on facility management and ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Monitor audits, promote sustainable practices and manage documentation of procedures.

Required profile

• Technical studies background.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar maintenance coordination role.
• Understanding of the luxury retail environment with strong attention to quality and safety.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German or Italian is a plus.
