Manager – Financial Accounting Advisory Services (US‑Focused Markets)

About the role

EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team in Switzerland is expanding and seeks a Manager for the US‑Focused Markets Group. Based in Zurich (with occasional work in Basel), you will lead US GAAP and US capital‑markets projects for a diverse client base across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with FAAS leadership to design and execute strategies that meet high client expectations.
• Manage end‑to‑end US GAAP and US capital‑markets advisory engagements, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
• Coordinate with other service lines and subject‑matter experts to provide integrated solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high‑performing project team.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to FAAS projects and capital‑markets transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6–8 years of audit or consulting experience focused on US GAAP, PCAOB, SOX, SEC and US capital‑markets transactions.
• Professional qualification such as US CPA (preferred), Swiss CPA, ACCA or CFA.
• Experience with IPOs, public debt listings or carve‑out transactions is strongly encouraged.
